Warm winter shoes are expensive and eat away a big portion of socially disadvantaged families' budget. This is why ALMATO has donated to the daily winter boots project of the Kinderschutzbund Reutlingen. This project supports families that are assisted by the Kinderschutzbund. On average, around 4.500€ for around 100 children's shoes are donated each year.

Almost half, 2000€, are donated by the German pioneer for Robotic Process Automation and Real Time Interaction Management. For the project, volunteers accompany children from underprivileged families to buy winter shoes. "We accompany the children to the shoe store and choose a pair of winter boots together", explains Ursula Schlüter, chairwoman of the Kinderschutzbund Reutlingen. "That way, we ensure that the money is spent exactly on what it was designated for."

With its donation, the software company not only supports the winter shoe project but also the Christmas Party. The festivities will be held on December 17 for around 120 children in need. Children will have the opportunity to watch a play and at the end, each of them will receive a gift bag. "Many of the children we look after don't have access to plays because their families don't have the resources. That is why we are happy to be able to arrange a play, a visit from Father Christmas and much more with the donations we receive.", said Schlüter.
